Major General David A. Harris is a highly decorated retired two-star general, combat veteran, devoted husband and father, and lifelong public servant whose career has been defined by leadership, accountability, and mission success. As one of the first U.S. Airmen see combat during Operation Desert Storm, General Harris served on the front lines at a pivotal moment in American military history — an experience that shaped his lifelong commitment to service, country, and the people he leads. 

Commissioned through the Air Force ROTC program at Brigham Young University in 1986 as a distinguished graduate, Harris went on to build an extraordinary career as an Electronic Warfare Officer and experimental flight test weapons systems officer in the B-1B bomber. Over decades of service, he accumulated thousands of flight hours and contributed directly to the advancement of critical military technologies that protect American forces and interests around the world. 

General Harris believes service does not end when the uniform comes off, and after nearly four decades protecting the nation, he remains committed to strengthening America at home by supporting families, communities, and the everyday heroes who keep the country moving forward.
